What can an hour do?

Sometimes, an hour on a horse can do what nothing else can.
For a little while, the noise fades. You stop thinking about everything that happened yesterday and everything waiting for you tomorrow. You focus on the horse beneath you, the reins in your hands, and the next step forward.
You breathe differently. You think differently. You feel grounded.
That’s part of what makes horses so powerful. They don’t need to know your story. They simply meet you where you are.
For a child carrying grief, trauma, stress, or challenges that may be difficult to put into words, that hour can matter.
Sometimes healing doesn’t start with talking.
Sometimes it starts in the saddle.
