Growing Stronger: Milestones on Our Journey

Every meaningful journey begins with a series of small but important steps, and we're excited to share some of Unbroken's recent milestones.

We are proud to announce that Unbroken is now officially recognized as a nonprofit organization. This is a significant step toward fulfilling our mission of helping children heal from grief and trauma through the transformative power of horses.

Another important milestone is obtaining our Employer Identification Number (EIN), which allows us to continue establishing the organization. Our next step is submitting our application to the IRS for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Once approved, this designation will help us expand fundraising opportunities and strengthen our ability to serve children and families.

In September, we'll hold our inaugural Board of Directors meeting. During this meeting, our board will adopt the organization's bylaws and take other important actions that will establish the governance and foundation needed for Unbroken's future.

Perhaps most encouraging of all is the growing support we've received from our community. Every conversation, introduction, word of encouragement, and offer to help reminds us that this mission resonates with others who believe every child deserves the opportunity to heal and find hope.

While there is still much work ahead, each milestone brings us one step closer to welcoming children into programs designed to foster confidence, resilience, trust, and healing through meaningful interactions with horses.
